“A massive milestone for the club.”
Uttoxeter RFC hit a huge milestone in September as they sent their first junior girls onto the rugby pitch. From the U11/12 we saw Violet Plant and Faye Marsh – a momentous occasion for both girls as it was their first ever game of rugby. And it’s safe to say that they absolutely loved it!
We also saw Scarlett Hollins from the U13/14 girls. Scarlett made some amazing tackles, showing a great amount of determination in what was a challenging game.
Finally, we want to highlight Elle Marsh from the U15/16 girls who joined forces with Tamworth and Sutton to take on Leicester Forest. After a difficult first half, the team fought back to draw in the third quarter before going on to win the final quarter!
A huge well done to these girls – you have done Uttoxeter RFC proud!
