Let’s accentuate the positive together!
We are delighted to begin publishing solely local, positive news stories in Uttoxeter – knowing there are big boots to be filled, given the previous Echo.
Our group already publishes a print and online newspaper in Burton, as well as in Lichfield, where we also operate an ever-expanding radio station. Alongside this, our Let’s Echo YouTube channel covers all the areas we engage in.
The connecting thread between all these – and, now, with the Uttoxeter Echo – is local positivity. Since becoming Editor of the Echo at the beginning of June, I’ve been really pleasantly surprised by the number of local people and organisations in these places that have contacted me about their positive stories, which we’re always delighted to publish.
We’re starting here in Uttoxeter online to test the waters, but are keen to go to print and on the air waves whenever we have enough interest and content to do so.
For this to really work, we need your participation, so please do get in touch to tell us about the events you’re running, big celebrations you’ve got coming up, sporting fixtures you’re taking part in, and we’ll make sure the area knows about it.
